Data We Do Not Collect
FontDrop does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Any text you type into our generators.
- Personal information such as your name, email address, or location (unless you voluntarily submit the contact form).
- Browser fingerprints or device identifiers.
All font generation happens entirely in your browser. Your typed text never leaves your device.
Local Storage
FontDrop uses your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to save your preferences locally on your device:
- Theme preference — remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode.
- Favorite styles — saves font styles you have marked as favourites.
- Recent styles — keeps track of recently used font styles.
- Navigation text — temporarily carries your typed text when you switch between tool pages.
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
Contact Form
If you use our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, and message in order to respond to your inquiry. This information is used solely to communicate with you and is not shared with third parties.
Cookies
FontDrop does not use tracking cookies. We do not use analytics services that track individual users across sessions or sites.
Third-Party Services
FontDrop may be hosted on a third-party platform (such as a web hosting provider). That provider may collect standard server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal hosting operations. We do not control that data and it is subject to the hosting provider's privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
FontDrop is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
